Made in the midst of the real-life hysteria that enveloped the Bay Area in the early '70s, this exploitation cheapie loosely depicts the investigation into the Zodiac Killer murders. Local pizza man-turned-filmmaker Tom Hanson cast friends and relatives to tell the charged story, with an ulterior motive: to screen the movie in Frisco and actually capture the Zodiac himself! Stars Hal Reed, Bob Jones, Ray Lynch, Gloria Gunn, and Doodles Weaver. 87 min. Also includes the bonus feature "Another Son of Sam" (1977).
